| Description | The Crew of the USS Poseidon disembark from Earth Spacedock, heading towards their first stop at the planet Tellar. It will take around 23 days to arrive, with unknown adventures in-between. The USS Poseidon is expected to depart for Andoria following their arrival and a short port-of-call at Tellar. A final port-of-call is expected at Vulcan before enjoying another period of shore leave. However nothing ever goes as planned on the Poseidon. With a ship full of new faces, new officers, and new cadets, there's no telling what adventures await the crew on their continued journey of discovery! |

Mission Summary
__**USS Poseidon Midshipman Training Cruise:**__
(To Start on May 13th, 2395)
1.) Depart Risa, head for Earth Spacedock, should arrive on May 17th, 2395. Pick up a fresh compliment of Academy Cadets. [COMPLETED]
2.) During a week-long cruise, the USS Poseidon will proceed the following course to acquire further Academy and Exchange Cadets:
-Proceed 8 LY to Tellar [IN PROGRESS]
-Proceed 6 LY to Andoria
-Proceed 4 LY to Vulcan
3.) Following a few days to settle down and for introductions, the USS Poseidon will set course for Axanar approximately 7 LY away from Vulcan to pick up farming equipment. The USS Poseidon will then proceed 13 LY away to Starbase 12 for delivery of the equipment. On Starbase 12, we will reload with spirits/alcoholic beverages of various brands.
4.) Following the finalizing of loading of the spirits/alcoholic beverages on Starbase 12, the USS Poseidon will the proceed 15 LY away to deliver its cargo to the planet Argelius. The USS Poseidon will then take a few days leave as a civilian convoy finalizes loading of its various types of cargo (ore, foodstuffs, et cetera) and will then be assigned Convoy Protection Duty. Our destination will be 22 LY away to Starbase 22.
5.) Following the successful arrival of the civilian freighter convoy to Starbase 22, the USS Poseidon will take a day or so to load up high-value medicines. This cargo will be delivered to Acamar (Theta Eridani) which is 12 LY away. After the unloading process is done, the USS Poseidon will make best speed to Starbase 234 which is 8 LY away and take a longer course that avoids the Golornden Core and Paulson Nebula. This will take a few days to a week. Upon successful arrival to Starbase 234, the USS Poseidon will begin loading of Misc Supplies. We will then proceed to planet Nimbus III which is 6 LY away and have a short layover following unloading.
6.) Following the short layover on Nimbus III, the USS Poseidon will load up passengers destined for Starbase 234. Once arrived, we will offload those passengers and then proceed directly at best speed to Starbase 24 which is 15 LY distant.
This ends the First Half of our Cruise. Expected end sometime around July 13th thru 15th, 2023. However it is expected to take several months.
