Mission: The Grand Tour: Part Two

After leaving Poseidon's Executive officer, Jessica Stewart made her way to see the chief Security officer, She had read that the Commander had been in charge of the Oberon but his promotion had been halted or so the gossip was. however; she did not go in for that and as a warrior, it was dishonorable to speak of your commander like that.

As she came to a halt outside the door, Jessica once again made sure that she had her tunic straightened pressed the door chime, and waited to be called into the office, Jessica wanted to bring Honour to her house and the ship and commander Trensu.

Senior Cadet Senior Louis walks by seeing Jessica at Trensu's door "Good luck in Cadet Stewart. I have heard the Lieutenant Commander has been eating cadets for over a hundred years don't know if that's true. If you remember did teach at the academy. It's no big deal" said Louis as he walked by will a pile of Padds in his arms.

Hearing the door Chime and some talking outside his door he smiled. Many things ran through Trensu's mind about Cadet Jessica Stewart's records. "Enter!" said Trensu loudly in a stern tone.

As Jessica entered the Security Chief's Office, once more she gave her full title "Cadet Jessica Stewart Daughter of Eric of the house Stewart" As she focused upon the wall in front of her as she waited to be seated, Jessica knew that this was the start of a long and eventful career in Starfleet.

The office has some decorations in it mostly collector weapons books on tactics and warfare from different races and languages. Everything is neat and orderly. The wall was directly behind Trensu and his desk had an assortment of melee weapons on it from different races. The wall next to that one had ancient firearms some looking very real. The office was decorated to show a skilled worrier almost something you would see from a Klingon.

Trensu finished looking at the Padd in his hands He looked up at the Cadet looking her over and satisfied with her uniform. By looking at Trensu you would think he was Volcan showing little emotion. "At ease, Cadet," Trensu ordered. "First welcome aboard the Poseidon. Next when reporting your house is not needed in the Star Fleet when executing your duties as a Star Fleet officer." Trensu explained. "Take a seat Cadet Stewart," he said. Waiting for her to sit. "You you settled in and do you need anything, anything?" asked Trensu now in a more pleasant tone.

"Sir," replied Jessica looking back at the Security chief whilst taking the offered seat, she continued " it was drilled into me that when reporting in is formal so giving my house is part of the formal address," as she relaxed back into the chair.

Trensu paused then turned back to the Cadet "Just stay within regulations Cadet and everything will be fine. I dropped most of my titles we would be here a few minutes if I had to go threw them all," said Trensu with a smile. I was walking over and sitting in his chair behind his desk. "You being part Klingon it is fine. Have you gone threw the Klingon warrior trials?"Aked Trensu.

“Well, I had no choice, Sir,” replied Jessica looked back at him she continued, “You see, my father was not always in my life because they met one time when he was on leave and got into a drinking contest with my Mother,” as she remembered the story her mother told her when she was old enough.” it was after he left my Mother found that she was carrying me that my mother tried to see him,” as she looked back at the senior officer.

"It can be hard for someone in your position. and I might be able to help you with that cadet Stewart Daughter of Eric of the house Stewart. We do more than just Sacurity here I also want self-improvement with my Sacurity offers.

“ It was by chance that we met my Father again when his ship USS Liberty assisted the planet where we were staying,” she stated,” it was then that my mother introduced me to him “ Jessica then stated, “he had to go through the trials himself to prove he could lead the house,”

" There are several traditions Age of Ascension Ceremony and Rite of Passage, I am familiar with them and get you ready, and the Ambassador can give you the test if you would like them." Answered Trensu. The Ambassador is of the House of PaCh PIn'a. He too had to go threw trials to marry his wife Kal-nar of the House of PaCh PIn'a. He is considered a worrier in that house.

“It was after he took the trials that he married my mother and became the head of my house,” Jessica responded as she looked at the officer in front of her, “Since then I had to learn every type of weapon and hand-to-hand combat” she finished.

"Your stories sound similar to the Ambassador, I will test you on Klingon weapons and hand-to-hand combat trust me when I say I will not be easy on you. Even Klingon worriers have not passed my test. Some houses sought my test. I am well known to some houses, hated by other houses. but I am here to help you grow," explained Trensu.

"Now what do you know of your duties as a Security officer aboard the Poseidon?" asked Trensu testing the Cadet's knowledge.

" It should, sir," replied Jessica looking back at him, She continued, "You see my father is Eric Stewart, the first Human to sit on the Klingon council," she finished speaking and catching her breath. "As for my duties sir, I will be patrolling the corridors and a stint on the bridge and rotation in the brig," she stated as she remembered what her father told her.


Trensu was taken back for a moment. He did not put the two together until now why his friend did not say something to him? "I will word this carefully." he paused thinking. "How does your joining Star Fleet affect your father and his standing with the Klingon council? did he disown you or not acknowledge you?" asked Trensu.

" Oh no, he did not disown me, sir," replied Jessica, "In fact, he gave me the choice of which service I wanted" she stated looking back once more at the senior officer, she finished "Even My mother agreed with it as she did not want to push me into something I didn't want,"

Trensu sat back and seemed almost relieved. "That is good to hear Cadet Stewart. It will make my life easier with the tests. I do look forward to administering the test, but I don't get to do it afterward.
I look forward to seeing what you are made of," said Trensu with a cunning smile.

" I was trained by the best the Klingons have to offer sir," replied Jessica she knew that the mentor she had been with had been strict and she would be with her partner and she hoped to find out who she was partnered up with. she asked, " Sir, if I may ask who am I Partnered up with?"

Trensu smiled "OK cadet I do look forward to our training sessions." commented Sung. Sung had even gone to some of the Kingon competitions and scored some of the highest scores for a non-Klingon. "As for your Partnered? Do you have someone you would like to be Partnered with? "asked Trensu. He was testing her in some way to see what she said and he partly was interested to see if she did her homework on the security department.

"I am not fussed Sir," replied Jessica looking back at Poseidon's Security chief, She continued "As long as we gel together and do not think I am using my father's position to climb quickly I will be fine." As she leaned back in her chair.

"OK, then you will report to me. This will not be an easy assignment" said Trensu with a grin. "But I do think you can handle it, Cadet. Normally you would be under the department's Senior Chief. But I will give you the challenge you need Cadet Stewart," explained Trensu in a serious tone. Then added, "Not that you have a choice."

"Aye Sir," replied Jessica as she knew how to handle a challenge and was looking forward to it, " I will not let you down, sir, As my Honor is at stake," as her reputation was something she held dear to her heart.

"Yes I think it is, I know you can handle yourself self, or I would not be handling your training," said Trensu thinking. "OK, I will let you go so you can report to me tomorrow morning. until then go over the reports for the last two weeks and give me an opinion in a written report." Trensu requested. "Do you need anything or have any further questions?" asked Trensu.

"Aye Sir," replied Jessica as the final part of her Schedule was the dreaded physical, her father used to say that it was the one thing he dreaded after shore leave, she finished " I have no other questions"

"Remember my door is always open to you you are on Alfa shift with me so remember to report on time to me unless otherwise ordered. I do look forward to overseeing your training. You are dismissed untell two marrow make sure your stuff is in order, Cadet Stewart," finished Trensu.
