Computer, begin log. Place this log under the classification of Level 5 Starfleet Rank Access Level, Command Authorization Code Alpha-Alpha-One-Nine-Five-Foxtrot-Gamma-Nine-Seven by authorization of Commodore Gregory Paladin.

The computer chirps in response, then replies with, "Access Code Accepted. This personal log is now classified under Command Level Access 5. Proceed with entry."

I saw him. I saw the bastard. I reviewed the footage between the Poseidon and Pitchfork. The bastard was right there, checking to make sure of something and disappeared. I remember that damn scar anywhere. We had him so close and yet....and yet I can't help feeling that he had a hand in those ships that attacked.

I have my suspicions and, so far, I think Starfleet Command agrees. This wasn't just a rogue attack. This was deliberate and planned. But for what reason?

I also dug up something interesting on the USS Pitchfork. Apparently it had either went missing in action or was heavily damaged during the Dominion War. I tried to get more on it but got a block from Starfleet Intelligence. I think I may have to approach T'Pri on this much later, but for now....

...for now I know where he is. Where he's hiding. We're on the right track.

Computer, end log.
