Personal Log, Commander Franklin Johnson,

We have barely started our journey as a crew and already we have the youngest among us. Ensign Sydney Allen is a very shy but outwardly ambitious Ensign who is currently in Starfleet Academy. For reasons yet to be revealed, she was personally assigned to the ship. I must make a note to meet with Commodore Paladin regarding this event, but I feel that overall, it is a good sign.

Maybe we, as an old ship, yet new crew, can help this young officer reach her dreams.
