A Change of Pace

Posted on Monday February 14th, 2022 @ 11:57am by Captain Franklin Johnson

Greetings Crew,

As you all should be aware by now - via Discord - the Sim is now changing pace to better fit the crew and their needs. This means shorter missions, more friendly interactions, a better situational set-up for plots and missions, and so much more. All crew will be receiving awards shortly for their participation in the prior mission. Moving forward, it is my intention to provide an intermission period between missions to allow the crew to receive downtime and awards. The intermission period can be as long as a mission might take, allowing for liberty periods for crew or vacations. Regardless, this new transitional era for our sim will permit the crew more creative authority over the direction of the sim while maintaining primary focus in the eyes of the Command Staff.

I'd like to once again congratulate Lit. Cmndr. T'Pri, our Chief Intelligence Officer, for their hard work and dedication. They are our new 4XO!

If we require a new moderator to help Lt. Cmndr Sharpe, we will choose one. At this time we have decided one moderator will be enough.

Thank you all for your patience and thank you for choosing to continue to have the sim running. Without you, we wouldn't have the motivation or drive to be here. You are all valued, awesome, and loved by us. Thank you all.

Cordially,
Captain Franklin Johnson
Commanding Officer
USS Poseidon
