Nearing Departure

Hi Crew,

As of this message my Number One should have already posted the meat and rice of our next phase of the plot as a log-based announcement. You'll note the in character perspective from it and I encourage you to get creative with ideas that pertain to this next phase! The excitement is real, however the Command Staff and I agree that there needs to be some ground rules established.

Moving forward, the Command Staff and I agree that all joint post related discussions must take place on the discord server (in the appropriate channel of #jp-discussions) so that we can keep track of your progress as a whole. This will help us keep track of your ideas as you work together to add your story to the whole and allow us to match your pace when able. If you have any questions or concerns about this new policy that has been set forth, please consult a member of Command Staff.

Additionally, any plot-related Joint Posts from here on our must be discussed and permitted by a member of the Command Staff. If your post pertains to the plot and enacts changes with or against the plot, it must be approved. HOWEVER, if your Joint Post has nothing to do with the plot (or slight mention of events as they have already been posted) and only pertains to your character development with others or your own characters, you're free to post without permission or supervision. If you have any questions or concerns about this preexisting policy, consult #rules-and-info on the discord or a member of the Command Staff.

it is critical for me to convey that the Command Staff encourages you to allow yourself to start imagining how your characters are going to react to the new mission being set down, but that until we finish posting Departure (the Command Staff Joint Posts for Plot to unberth the ship and send her off again) you should not post any joint post with any information to what has been provided. It should all still be JP's concerning events up to and prior of departure. Again, any questions or concerns, get with the Command Staff.

Finally, the Betreka Nebula is going to be the next scene for our plot. Discuss your ideas openly in #jp-discussions and be encouraged to get creative, but make no mention of this area in current JP's until we finalize our Departure. We're slowly moving forward and we appreaciate your patience with us.
