When not on duty he can often be found in a pair of jeans, and a sweater, or t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers. |

| Personal History | Jaxson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, along with his twin brother, to parents who were both career Starfleet officers. His father, D'Ante was a member of the Corps of Engineers, and his mother was an instructor at the Academy campus of Starfleet Medical. As children, the two boys couldn't have been more different. While Jason was a studious child, who got straight a's, and already had plans to be a science officer from the time he was seven. Jaxson, on the other hand, spent the majority of his time playing sports or finding anything he possibly could to dismantle and put back together. Upon graduating from high school Jason would immediately enter Starfleet academy, while Jaxson would choose, instead, to sign up as a non-com in the Starfleet engineering section. After spending a year and a half at the Starfleet Technical Services Academy on Mars he would graduate with the rank of Petty Officer 3rd class, due to his specialist training. From there he would be assigned a one-year shakedown style cruise on the USS Nova Scotia, a specialized training vessel for non-commissioned officers. Once that year was up he was able to apply for a position on a few ships and found the one he liked best was the USS Proxima. He was accepted quickly, as the ship was finishing its refit at that time, and was in need of several key NCO positions in the engineering department ahead of her shipping out. Unfortunately, she wasn't in need of any propulsion specialists, which meant he would join them as a general engineering specialist, which would end up being a great experience, as it gave him much more applicable knowledge in several other areas. He would stay aboard the Proxima for almost two years, before he was able to find another ship he felt would fit his needs, and allow him to return to his true passion, working with the propulsion systems specifically. Applying to the USS Poseidon, he was excited to find himself accepted quickly, and his transfer made effective immediately. |
